Applicants who require Student Visa

Requirements

  • ① High school education or equivalent (excluding Korean Chinese regional schools)
  • ② – Must be born after 2000 (within 3 years of High school graduation)
    – Must be born after 1998 (within 3 years of College graduation)
  • ③ Have a grade average of “C.” Number of failed courses cannot exceed 1.
  • ④ The applicant and applicant’s parents should not have history of illegal residence.

Mandatory registration period

  • 2 semesters: 2,940,000KRW (80,000KRW registration fee, 60,000KRW insurance fee included)

Required documents

  • ① 1 copy of the Application Form and 1 copy of Agreement for using personal Information
  • ② 1 photographs (3.5*4.5cm)
  • ③ 1 copy of the Passport,
  • ④ 1 copy of student’s Resident Identity Card, 1 copy of the parents’ Resident Identity Card
  • ⑤ 1 copy of the Household Register (submit the divorce certificate if parents are divorced)
  • ⑥ 1 copy of the Kinship notarization
  • ⑦ 1 (original) copy of the verification of diploma, 1 (original) copy of the credential report, 1 (original) copy of the report card
  • ⑧ Financial affidavit
    – 1 (original) copy of the bank balance statement (over 10,000USD in the account for more than 1 year)[This should be issued within a month from the applying date.] – Certificate of employment for parents and income certificates of parents.

  • ⑤ 1 copy of the diploma from the last school graduated (The original one must be verified.)

    – Must be notarized and translated to English and verified by the Apostille or Consulate General
  • ⑤ 1 original copy of the English bank balance statement (over 10,000USD) under the applicant’s name

  • All the documents have to be original, translated (to English) and notarized copies attached.

  • **There are countries that cannot be registered among countries other than countries with frequent illegal stays, so please contact us for more information.**(Application is not available without checking the required qualification and documents with ERICA IIE Office.)

  • (Without certificate of identity) 4 semesters: 5,740,000 KRW (80,000KRW registration fee, 60,000KRW insurance fee included)

  • ① 1 copy of the Application Form and 1 copy of the Agreement for using personal information (Must attach a Statement of Purpose: 2nd page of the Application form – in Korean or English)
  • ② 1 copy of the passport
  • ③ 1 photograph (3.5*4.5cm)
  • ④ 1 original copy of the diploma from the last school graduated
  • ⑤ 1 original copy of the transcript from the last school graduated
  • ⑥ 1 original copy Proof of Income of the applicant’s parent(s).
